The short answerMost UK families need seven to ten nights in Orlando. Plan roughly one day per major park, add a rest or pool day for every three or four park days, and leave room for one day trip such as the Space Centre. Cramming too much in is the most common mistake.

Orlando is huge, and tired children make queues feel longer. Here is how to size your trip.

A simple rule of thumb
  • One day for each major park you want to see properly
  • One rest or pool day for every three to four park days
  • One day for a day trip such as the Space Centre or a beach
  • Half a day each for arrival and departure
Trip lengthWhat fits
5 to 6 nightsTwo to three parks and a pool day

2Add rest days

Heat, jet lag and walking add up. A pool day is not a wasted day.

3Add one day trip

Prices, ticket rules and park details change often. Check the park or ticket seller before you book.
