Order terms

Draft wording, to be reviewed before taking live payments.

What you are buying

A website built for you, as described in the package, extras and delivery speed you chose on the order page, plus a monthly care plan (hosting, security, backups and small changes). Anything marked as "quoted separately", such as local SEO or booking, is not included in the price you pay and is only charged after you agree a price in writing.

Prices and VAT

The prices shown are the prices you pay. Web Matter is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.

Paying today

You pay the one-off project price and the first month of the care plan when you order. The care plan then renews every month by card until you cancel.

Confirming the details

Within one working day we email you to confirm what we understood from your answers. If we cannot deliver what you ordered for the price you paid, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Changing your mind

Before we start work you can cancel and we will refund the project price in full. Once work has started, because every site is built specifically for you, we refund the part of the work not yet done and keep a fair amount for the work already done. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

The monthly care plan

It renews monthly and you can cancel at any time with one month's notice by emailing us. You keep your website content. We will help you move it if you leave.

What we need from you

Photos, your logo and the text or details we ask for. The delivery time starts when we have what we need.

Urgent delivery

If you chose Priority or Urgent delivery, the extra charge covers moving your project ahead of other work. It is not refundable once work has started.

Your data

See our privacy notice. Card payments are processed by Stripe and we never see your card details.
