This notice explains how Local Landscaper Finder ("we") uses personal information sent through this website, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, UK mobile number, the description you write, the page you sent it from and the time. Our server also processes your IP address briefly to protect the form from spam and abuse.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To pass your enquiry to an independent local provider so they can contact you with advice or a quote (your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form).
• To stop spam and misuse of the form (our legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is shared with an independent provider covering your area. They become responsible for your data once they receive it and must handle it under their own privacy notice. We use a trusted email delivery service to send enquiries to us securely, and our website host stores the site. We never sell your details or use them for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 12 months, then delete them. Spam-protection records are kept for no more than 24 hours.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent at any time, or object to how we use it. Send your request using the enquiry form on this site, with "Data request" in the description, and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
