From families who've used the service

Peace of mind, delivered

"We'd had boxes of our late father's Qurans and madrasa books in the loft for three years — nobody knew what to do with them. BookBurial made it effortless, and knowing they'd been handled properly meant a lot."
— A. Hussain
"I'd been putting this off out of respect, not knowing the right way. The calculator gave me a clear price in seconds. Knowing the books had been laid to rest properly brought closure."
— F. Khan
"As a masjid we had decades of old copies accumulating. The bulk rate worked brilliantly — 18kg handled in one go, properly."
— Masjid As-Salaam

Common questions

You asked, we answered

Is this Islamically permissible?

Yes. Burying old, damaged, or unreadable religious texts in a clean place where people do not walk is the most widely accepted method in classical Islamic scholarship. Many scholars (Hanafi, Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) cite burial as the preferred route. Read more on our FAQ.

What can I send?

Qurans, hadith books, tafsir, du'a and prayer booklets, Islamic schoolbooks, torn pages with Arabic verses, and printed materials bearing the name of Allah or His Messenger ﷺ.

Do I need to wrap anything specially?

Just box or parcel it firmly so it survives the post. We'll shroud and handle the contents respectfully on arrival. If you wish, wrap the books in clean cloth first — it isn't required.

How often do you bury?

We pool burials twice a year in a dedicated UK Muslim burial plot. Your books will be stored respectfully, off the floor, in a dedicated facility until the next burial.
