Everything you need to know about ScoreBracket — the online scoreboard and tournament bracket generator for any sport.

What sports does ScoreBracket work for? +
ScoreBracket works for any sport or competitive event. It is fully sport-agnostic — configure scoring rules, bracket formats and display layouts to match football, martial arts, tennis, basketball, badminton, esports, debate, robotics, table tennis, volleyball, rugby and more. If your event has participants and winners, ScoreBracket can run it.
Does ScoreBracket include an online scoreboard? +
Yes. Every plan — starting with the £49 Starter — includes a real-time online scoreboard and bracket generator. You can display live scores on any screen, projector or TV and connect as many audience devices as you need — ideal for training sessions, small competitions and school events. Upgrade to Plus, Pro or Organisation when you need more participants, courts or advanced features.
How does the tournament bracket generator work? +
Select your division, choose a bracket format — single elimination, double elimination or round robin — and click generate. ScoreBracket seeds participants automatically, handles byes when numbers don't fill a bracket exactly, and produces a complete match fixture list. You can regenerate any division independently without affecting other brackets. Edit individual matches before or after generation at any time.
Can I generate round-robin brackets? +
Yes. Round-robin bracket generation is available on the Plus, Pro and Organisation plans. Every participant plays every other participant in their division. ScoreBracket auto-generates all fixtures, tracks wins, losses, draws and points, and produces a live standings table that updates as matches are scored.
Do I need to install any software? +
No. ScoreBracket runs entirely in a standard web browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge on any device. Operators, referees, coaches and spectators all access the platform via URL. There are no downloads, no app installs and no browser plugins required. Just open the link and start scoring.
How many participants can I add? +
The Starter plan supports up to 8 participants per division. The Plus plan raises that to 64 participants. The Pro and Organisation plans have no participant limit — add as many competitors, teams or entries as your event requires. Participants can be imported in bulk via CSV upload.
Does ScoreBracket support multi-court scoring? +
Yes. The Pro and Organisation plans support simultaneous live scoring across unlimited courts, rings or pitches. Each court has its own independent operator console, referee scoring device, coach display and audience scoreboard — all synced in real time via WebSocket. Generate QR codes for each device role so volunteers can scan and start scoring in seconds.
Can I use ScoreBracket for streaming on OBS? +
Yes. ScoreBracket provides transparent browser source URLs designed for OBS Studio. Add live score overlays and match ticker lower thirds to your YouTube, Twitch or Facebook stream. You can toggle visibility of scores, timer, round and participant information directly from the operator console — all customisable per court.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) processed securely via Stripe. Organisation plan invoicing is available on request for clubs and federations. All prices are in GBP. Paid plans are one-off payments per event; the Organisation plan is an annual subscription covering unlimited events.
Can I customise the scoreboard with my logo? +
Yes. The Organisation plan includes full custom branding. Upload your club, organisation or sponsor logo and it is applied automatically across scoreboards, bracket displays and audience views — giving your event a professional, branded appearance with no design work required.
Can I import and export data? +
Yes. ScoreBracket supports CSV import for participants and CSV export for results, match data and statistics. If you have specific data or integration needs — feeding results into a website, league database or custom display — get in touch at info@webmatter.co.uk and we'll be happy to help.
How does real-time scoring work? +
ScoreBracket uses WebSocket connections so that every connected device syncs instantly. When an operator or referee enters a score, all displays — scoreboards, bracket views, fixture boards, coach displays and spectator screens — update in real time with no page refresh. Latency is typically under 100 milliseconds, ensuring a seamless live experience for everyone watching.
