- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers. We receive and store a transaction reference, payment amount, date and the last four digits of your card for record-keeping purposes.
Technical and Analytics Data
- IP address, browser type, operating system and device information.
- Pages visited, timestamps and referring URLs.
- Basic usage analytics collected via a lightweight server-side tracking pixel (track.php), if enabled.
3. Lawful Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal grounds under the UK GDPR:
- Contract (Article 6(1)(b)): Processing necessary to provide the ScoreBracket service you have signed up for, including account management, event creation and payment processing.

- Your data is stored on servers located in the United Kingdom and European Union.
- Event data (scores, brackets, fixtures, participant information) is retained for 150 days after the event concludes, then permanently deleted.
- Account data (email, profile) is retained for as long as your account remains active.
- Payment records are retained for up to 7 years as required by UK tax and accounting regulations.
- You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).
7. Your Rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.
- Hashed password storage.
