Even, not identical
Logos are not squeezed into the same box. Each is scaled so it carries the same ink area. Matching boxes is what makes most sponsor walls look lumpy, because a long wordmark reads as enormous next to a compact square badge.
Backgrounds handled
A white or off white backdrop is removed so the logo floats on the page. A dark badge keeps its backdrop on a neat tile, because white lettering on a knocked out badge would simply vanish.
Duplicates caught
The same logo sent twice gets flagged, including the awkward case where a sponsor sends a second, better photo that looks nothing like the first to a computer but has a near identical name.
Tiers that mean something
