Cookie Policy

Short version: the marketing site you are reading now does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The logged-in account area uses a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. That is it.

Essential-only. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, DoubleClick, or any other third-party advertising or retargeting service.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website can store on your device. They are commonly used to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and, on other sites, to track you across the web for advertising. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage, which are also covered by this policy.

2. Cookies and storage we use

Marketing pages (webmatter.co.uk/taekwondo-martial-arts-manager/*)

NameTypePurposeLifetime
tkd_cookie_ack_v1 localStorage (not a cookie) Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice so it is not shown again. Until you clear site data

That is the only storage item set by the marketing site. We do not set any HTTP cookies on the public pages.

Logged-in account area (/tkd-account/*)

NameTypePurposeLifetime
PHPSESSID Essential cookie Keeps you signed in to your account. Strictly necessary — the product cannot function without it. Session (deleted when browser closes)
tkd_remember Essential cookie Only set if you tick "Remember me" on sign-in. Keeps you signed in for 30 days. 30 days

Payments

When you enter card details, our payment processor Stripe sets its own essential cookies on checkout pages for fraud prevention and 3-D Secure. These are strictly necessary for payments to work. See Stripe's cookie policy for details.

3. Anonymous traffic statistics

We measure marketing-site traffic with our own self-hosted system. It records the page path, referrer, and a one-way hash of your IP address and user agent. The raw IP is never stored and the hash cannot be reversed. This system uses no cookies and cannot identify you. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.

4. Do Not Track

Because we do not set advertising or tracking cookies, there is no cross-site tracking to disable. We honour your browser's Do Not Track preference by default.

5. How to control cookies

Because the only cookies we set are strictly necessary, there is nothing to opt out of on the marketing site. If you sign in and later want to clear everything, you can:

6. Changes

If we ever add a new cookie or storage item, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change. Any material change will also trigger the cookie banner to reappear.
