Getting started
Payment, access, and setup
How much does Seizure Tracker cost? +
Seizure Tracker costs a one-time payment of £10. That's it — no monthly subscription, no annual renewal, no premium tier. Pay once and you have access for life.
What do I get for £10? +
Full access to the app — log unlimited seizures, store unlimited history, generate seizure reports, share reports with medical professionals, export to CSV, and access your dashboard from any device. Everything, permanently, for one payment.
How do I pay? Is it secure? +
Payment is handled by Stripe — one of the world's most trusted payment processors. We never see or store your card details. The checkout is fully encrypted and PCI-compliant.
How do I get my login details after paying? +
Immediately after payment, you'll see your email address and a generated password on screen. You'll also receive a welcome email with your credentials. Keep that safe — it's your permanent login.
Can I try it before I buy? +
Yes — there's a live demo on the
homepage. It's fully interactive so you can see exactly how logging works before you commit.
Using the app
Logging, reports, and features
How do I log a seizure? +
Open the app and tap the large red Log Seizure Now button. You'll be asked for the date and time (pre-filled to right now), duration, what you were doing at the time, and any notes. The whole process takes under 30 seconds.
Can I log multiple seizures in one session? +
Yes. If you had a cluster of seizures, you can log the count (e.g. 3 seizures in one event) as well as the duration. Each logged entry can represent multiple seizures.
Can someone else log on my behalf? +
Absolutely. Many users share their login with a carer, parent, or partner who logs seizures when the person with epilepsy isn't able to. Simply share your email and password with whoever needs access.
What activities can I record? +
You can record what you were doing at the time of a seizure — options include talking, walking, eating, cooking, dressing, sleeping, exercising, travelling, being in public, being with children, taking medication, shopping, and more. These activity categories are aligned with PIP assessment criteria. You can also add a custom activity with free text.
Can I edit or delete a log entry? +
Yes. Every entry in your history can be edited or deleted. Tap an entry to expand it and you'll find Edit and Delete options.
How do I generate a report? +
Go to the History tab and use the export buttons at the bottom. You can save the report as a PDF, print it, email it to someone (yourself, a GP, a solicitor), or share a secure link. Reports include a summary, full seizure log, and activity breakdown — all formatted for medical or benefits use.
What does the CSV export include? +
The CSV download contains every logged seizure with date, time, duration, count, activities, and notes — in a spreadsheet-friendly format. Useful if you want to do your own analysis or share raw data with a neurologist.
PIP & medical use
Using your data for benefits and healthcare
Can I use Seizure Tracker for my PIP application? +
Yes — this is one of the main reasons people use the app. A printed or emailed report showing consistent, timestamped seizure logs is strong supporting evidence for a PIP application. The activity categories are specifically aligned with the activities assessed under PIP (daily living and mobility tasks). See our full
PIP guide for how to use your report effectively.
Will my GP or neurologist accept the report? +
Most GPs and neurologists welcome detailed seizure logs — it's far more useful than trying to remember from memory in a short appointment. The report includes dates, times, duration, frequency, and activity context. We'd suggest mentioning the report when you book so they know to expect it.
How long should I track before a PIP assessment? +
Ideally start as early as possible. A minimum of 3 months of consistent logs gives a strong picture of your seizure frequency and pattern. If your assessment is imminent, even a few weeks of detailed records is better than none — and combined with a GP letter or specialist report, it forms a strong evidence base.
Privacy & data
Your data, your rights
Is my data private? +
Yes. Your seizure data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties, advertisers, or researchers. We don't sell data. We don't use it for anything other than providing you with the app. Full details are in our
Privacy Policy.
Where is my data stored? +
Data is stored on UK-based servers. We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Can I delete my account and data? +
Yes. Email us at
info@webmatter.co.uk and we'll delete your account and all associated data promptly. This is your right under UK GDPR.
What conditions does Seizure Tracker support? +
Seizure Tracker is suitable for anyone experiencing seizures — including epilepsy (all types), Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder (NEAD), Dravet syndrome, Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, juvenile myoclonic epilepsy, photosensitive epilepsy, absence seizures, and more. If you have seizures that need logging, the app will work for you.
