Federations running multiple events a year.

If you're a federation administrator reading this, you already know the calendar maths. The flagship national championship is one event. Around it sit a dozen others — area opens, regional ranking rounds, junior series events, training-camp pressure tests, association championships in the partner federations you affiliate with. Add it up and most UK federations run 10–20 events a year.

Per-event pricing on a tier like Standard (£349) or Professional (£799) makes sense up to a point. Past that point — usually around 10 events — an annual unlimited tier saves you money and adds the things federations actually need that single events don't: sub-user accounts for regional organisers, an aggregate dashboard for board reporting, and the priority support that matters when something needs fixing live during your flagship event.

That's what the £7,999/yr Federation tier is for. We're not trying to compete with your governing-body status; we're providing the operations layer underneath it.

Unlimited use plus the federation-grade extras.

Unlimited competitions / year

Run every event on the calendar — flagship championship, regional opens, junior series, training-camp comps, friendly invitationals, the lot. No per-event fee, no caps, no surprise overage.

👥

Sub-user accounts

Create accounts for regional organisers, club secretaries and area co-ordinators. They run their own events under the federation umbrella with their own credentials. You see everything from the federation dashboard.

📊

Federation dashboard

One screen showing every event past, present and scheduled. Aggregate competitor counts, medal tallies by club, ranking points, year-on-year trends. Useful for board reports, sponsor decks and grant applications.

🎯

Priority support

Direct line to our team during tournament weekends with guaranteed 4-hour response. We know when your major championship is and we're on standby.

🏆

Federation branding

Your logo on every scoreboard, every certificate, every audience screen across every event. Sub-organisers can co-brand with their own club logos under the federation mark.

📥

Annual results export

Year-end CSV export of every result across every event. Feeds into ranking systems, annual reports, governance submissions. One file, everything you need.

A simple maths check.

Federation is the right tier when your annual event count crosses the break-even point against per-event pricing. Here's a typical federation year:

Per-event pricing for a typical federation year

1× flagship national championship (Professional)£799
4× regional opens (Standard, £349 each)£1,396
3× area championships (Standard, £349 each)£1,047
4× ranking series rounds (Standard, £349 each)£1,396
3× junior / training comps (Starter, £149 each)£447
4× club Quick Match nights (£39 each)£156
Annual cost on per-event pricing£5,241

19 events. Plus you'd be without sub-user accounts, federation dashboard, and priority support.

For a federation running 19 events like the example above, Federation tier (£7,999/yr) is more expensive on raw events alone. But it includes sub-user accounts, the dashboard and priority support — capabilities that are worth four-figure sums in admin time saved across the year. Above 25 events, Federation is cheaper outright.

Federations running fewer events should look at per-event pricing instead — Standard and Professional tiers cover most needs at lower total cost.

Most federations run both.

If your federation is on the WT pathway, your flagship sanctioned event needs Daedo PSS for impact-detected scoring. We say so honestly on our comparison page. We don't replace Daedo at that level — nothing does.

What we replace is the spreadsheet-and-clipboard chaos that runs the other 95% of your year. The regional opens, the junior series, the training-camp comps, the area championships — none of those need electronic hogu, and most of them currently run on tools cobbled together from spreadsheets, paper brackets and Facebook posts.

Federation tier handles all of that, with one platform, one ranking export, one set of sub-user accounts. Daedo handles the WT-sanctioned flagship. The two systems coexist; we sit alongside, not against.

For federation administrators.

What does the Federation tier cover? +
Unlimited competitions across the year — every national open, regional event, ranking series round, area championship, training-camp mock comp. Plus sub-user accounts for regional organisers (so they can run their own events under the federation umbrella), a federation dashboard showing all events at a glance, and priority support during tournament weekends. £7,999 per year, billed annually.
Is this WT-sanctioned? +
No. For WT-sanctioned events that require electronic-hogu impact scoring you need Daedo PSS or KP&P hardware (see our Daedo PSS comparison page). The Federation tier is for non-WT events that make up the majority of any federation's calendar — domestic opens, association championships, ranking rounds, regional cups, friendly internationals. Many federations use Daedo for their flagship sanctioned event and our platform for everything else.
How do sub-user accounts work? +
The federation admin creates accounts for each regional organiser, club secretary or event director. Each sub-user can run their own events under the federation umbrella with their own credentials, while the federation admin sees the whole picture from the federation dashboard. Permissions are configurable so a sub-user can run events but not change federation-wide settings.
What does the federation dashboard show? +
All events from across the year in one view — past, current, scheduled. Aggregate competitor numbers, medal tallies by club, year-on-year trends. Drill into any event for the detail. Useful for board reporting, sponsor decks and grant applications.
Can we integrate with our existing ranking system? +
Results export as CSV at the per-event or per-year level. Most federation ranking systems can ingest CSV directly, or we can produce a tailored export format on request. We don't replace your ranking authority — you keep that — we just produce clean, complete result data for it.
Why annual rather than per-event? +
For federations running 10+ events a year, the annual fee works out cheaper than per-event pricing. You get unlimited usage, sub-user accounts and the federation dashboard, plus the priority support that matters when an event is live and something needs fixing. If you run fewer than 10 events a year, our per-event tiers will be cheaper — Standard or Professional may suit you better.

One platform for every event on your calendar.
