MotivationLosing the Quran habit after Ramadan
It's normal for Quran reading to drop after Ramadan, when the routine, the community feeling and taraweeh disappear. Keep the habit alive by shrinking it rather than stopping: a page or even a few verses a day at a fixed time, tracked on a simple chart. Joining a weekly class or a group khatm adds the accountability Ramadan gave you.
Keeping it going
- Shrink, don't stop: one page, or five verses, a day.
- Same time daily: after Fajr or before bed.
- Track it: a chart or app streak.
- Join a group khatm where each person takes a juz a month.
- A weekly class at the mosque gives you a reason to keep up.
- For children: keep the madrasah routine and celebrate small milestones.
If you miss days
Just pick up where you left off. A habit with gaps is still a habit.
