For fine motor difficulties (e.g. dyspraxia)

• Magnetic or press-stud closures instead of buckles or small zips
• A large pull loop on any zip
• A wide opening so books slide straight in

For predictability (e.g. autism)

• The same place for the Quran every time. A dedicated sleeve helps.
• A simple layout with few pockets
• A picture checklist inside the flap. See what to pack.

For sensory comfort

• Smooth, quiet materials, with no crinkly nylon or rattling hardware
• A wide, soft strap. See bag too heavy.

Talk to the madrasah

Let the teacher know what helps your child: where they sit, how instructions are given, and whether they can leave the Quran in a cubby. See when a child doesn't want to go.
