Travelling with a Quran: flights, Umrah and holidays

Carry the Quran in your hand luggage rather than the hold, so it stays with you and isn't crushed or lost. Keep it in a cover or zipped case, pack it on top of other items, and away from liquids. For Umrah or long trips, many people take a pocket mushaf and a Quran app. Mushafs are also freely available in the Haramain.
